AlphaPoint Adds Guggenheim’s Boggiano

AlphaPoint, a blockchain company focused on enabling institutions to launch, scale and operate digital asset networks and exchanges, announces the appointment of Kristin Boggiano as its chief legal officer. In this role, Boggiano will oversee the company’s legal, regulatory and government relations functions, as well as contribute as a member of the executive team.

Boggiano brings more than two decades of experience in the financial industry to AlphaPoint. Most recently, she served as a managing director and senior regulatory counsel at Guggenheim, where she advised on asset management, broker-dealer and insurance issues. As special counsel at Schulte Roth & Zabel, Boggiano was a senior regulatory, structured products and investment management counsel. Prior to this, Boggiano worked at Merrill Lynch on the derivatives desk, beginning her career with stints at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Boggiano is the president and founder of Women in Derivatives,a global non-profit with more than 5,000 members and a mission to educate and develop women leaders.
